Truma Aventa comfort is a roof-mounted airconditioning system with 2400W cooling output and 1700W heating output – thanks to the integrated heat pump.

Truma Aventa comfort cools your vehicle to its desired temperature very efficiently. The air is also cleaned to ensure a pleasant environment in your leisure vehicle. The features don’t end here; this system can also be used as a heater. Whilst also being very energy efficient.

From a technical aspect, all Aventa airconditioning systems are optimised so that they run especially quietly. Cool air flows throughout the entire vehicle via the air distributor. To set the ideal airflow, adjust the four air outlets to the desired level. The air distributor also has an integrated dimmable mood lighting feature.

"Works great when it works, but doesn't work for long. I purchased a 3yo van (only used a handful of times according to seller) with this installed and died on our first trip away. It wasn't an issue, these things happen. When I took to service agent the main board needed replacement which would have costed $900 plus labour. I didn't have a receipt for warranty. With remote playing up (another $300 replacement cost) I decided to buy new when RVonline had a sale and replace the whole unit. 13 months later with the van only used twice in the period for a maximum of 10 days, the main board has faulted again. Luckily this time it's covered under warranty. Caravan forums have this listed as a common problem. Not trying to deter from purchasing as it does have a 5 year warranty, but make sure you keep your receipt safe ( it is needed for warranty claim) and check the functioning of the A/C 2-3 months prior to trip as parts and waiting for service agent to install is slow especially just before the holiday period. It's obvious this unit is made with cheap components and mark up from Truma must be incredible to cover the warranty claims."
